U of A's Fulbright College Welcomes Burress of Spicewood to Campus

Raiven Burress of Spicewood recently joined more than 1,800 fellow undergraduate students in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences for the fall, adding to the 6,344-person university-wide first-year class and to the more than 32,000 undergraduate, graduate and law students at the University of Arkansas.
"We want to welcome Raiven to the University of Arkansas and especially to the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences," said Kathryn Sloan, interim dean of Fulbright College. "We're so eager to see Raiven learn, research, serve, and lead during their time in Fulbright College and are committed every day to their success."
Raiven joins the 151st class of first-year students welcomed to The Hill, joining the U of A from hometowns throughout Arkansas and the U.S. and across the world, to study subjects in one of Fulbright College's four academic disciplines: fine arts, humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences.
"Raiven has already come so far in their academic journey, and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for them here in Fulbright College and at the U of A," Sloan said.

About the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences: The Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences is the largest and most academically diverse unit on campus with three schools, 16 departments and 43 academic programs and research centers. The college provides the majority of the core curriculum for all University of Arkansas students.
